Система модулей Java (JPMS), введённая в Java 9, обеспечивает строгую инкапсуляцию и явное управление зависимостями в экосистеме Java. Модуль — это именованная, самоописываемая группа пакетов. Каждый модуль объявляет своё имя, от чего зависит и что раскрывает через дескриптор module-info.java.
