Переменная хранит значение для дальнейшего использования. В Kotlin есть два ключевого слова: val — значение задаётся один раз и не меняется; var — можно переприсваивать. Компилятор часто сам выводит тип из правой части — это вывод типов (type inference).
val — одно присваивание
